SAN BERNARDINO, CA — The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters has delivered ballots for approximately 1.2 million active registered voters to the U.S. Postal Service for the Nov. 3, 2026, General Election.
Voters do not need to wait until Election Day or for their ballots to arrive in the mail to vote. Early voting is available at the Registrar of Voters office, 777 E. Rialto Ave. in San Bernardino, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Voters may vote in person, return their voted ballot or request a replacement ballot. The office will also be open for voting Saturday, Oct. 31, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Beginning Thursday, Oct. 29, 10 additional early voting locations will open in Adelanto, Apple Valley, Barstow, Chino, Highland, Joshua Tree, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Victorville and Yucaipa. These locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 29 through Nov. 2, excluding Sunday, Nov. 1. Each location will be open on Election Day, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Registrar of Voters encourages voters to return their ballots early: by mail no later than Tuesday, Oct. 27, or at a ballot drop box or early voting location by Friday, Oct. 30. These dates give the Registrar of Voters more time to process ballots so they may be included in the first election night results.
Voters may return their voted ballot by mail at no cost. Postage is prepaid. Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before Tuesday, Nov. 3. Voters mailing their ballots on or close to Election Day are encouraged to take their ballot inside a U.S. Post Office and ask for a hand-stamped postmark.
The Registrar of Voters has 77 Ballot Drop Boxes throughout the county that are open until 8 p.m. on Election Day. To find the nearest one, voters may view the list of ballot drop box Locations on the Registrar of Voters website at Elections.SBCounty.gov.
On Tuesday, Nov. 3, voters may cast their ballots at any polling place in the county from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters may find their assigned polling place on the back cover of their County Voter Information Guide, by using the My Elections Gateway application on the Registrar of Voters website, or by calling 909-387-8300.
County Voter Information Guides began mailing Tuesday, Sept. 29. The guides include a sample ballot, candidate statements, early voting locations and other important information.
