LOS ANGELES, CA — The Southern California Coalition of the National Council of Negro Women (SCC-NCNW) invites families, elected officials, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, businesses, and residents from across Southern California to attend its annual Black Family Reunion on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the historic SoCal Council House, 3720 W. 54th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90043.
This free, family-friendly event celebrates the enduring strength of Black families while emphasizing the importance of community unity, cultural pride, and collective responsibility. At a time when many families face economic uncertainty, educational challenges, and barriers to opportunity, the Black Family Reunion serves as a powerful reminder that strong families are the foundation of thriving communities.

For more than nine decades, the National Council of Negro Women has worked to strengthen families through advocacy, education, leadership, and service. The Southern California Coalition continues that legacy by bringing together organizations and community partners committed to creating healthier, stronger, and more equitable communities.

Guests will enjoy a full day of live entertainment, cultural performances, community exhibitors, health and wellness resources, voter registration, youth activities, educational opportunities, food vendors, and family-friendly programming designed to inspire, educate, and connect the community.
