The San Gabriel Valley Section of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. (SGV-NCNW), alongside SoCal NCNW and their dedicated community partners, has been at the forefront of relief efforts for the victims of the devastating Eaton Fires in Altadena and Pasadena. On Saturday, April 26, 2025, SGV-NCNW will host its Annual Gala with the theme “Empower, Inspire, and Transform” to raise crucial funds that will support the ongoing rebuilding and relief efforts in these communities.
For SGV-NCNW, the mission is clear: to uplift, educate, and empower families, particularly women and children, in our most vulnerable communities. Through our work, we’ve provided essential items such as food, clothing, toiletries, hygiene kits, and daily necessities. But the road to recovery is long, and the impact of the Eaton Fires will be felt for years to come. We are committed to supporting these communities in the years ahead, ensuring they have the resources they need to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
