55th San Bernardino County Black History Month Parade and Expo “SOUNDS OF MUSIC” is a Fantastic Voyage!

Saturday February 25th. The parade starts at 10:00 on Citrus and Summit Avenue and proceeds to the Home Depot parking lot on Sierra Lakes parkway where the Expo begins.

This year’s Grand Marshal, founder of the R&B group “Lakeside”, Captain Mark Woods Jr.  and his lovely wife and  Soul Train dancer Sharon Hill Woods.

Soul Train was an American music variety television show and the first to prominently feature African American musical acts and dancers. It was Broadcast nationally from 1971 to 2006, and one of the longest-running syndicated programs in American television history.

The R&B group “Lakeside” performed their hit song “Fantastic Voyage” by lead singer Captain Mark a Woods Jr.  Woods.
