The Nurses Pub Launches Rock The Sox Campaign To Honor Veterans and Residents of The Inland Empire
With the support of Bombas.com, Wesley Health Centers (IWCH Institute) and Opera-tion Be Kind, The Nurses Pub will launch a community giveaway to support San Ber-nardino and Inland Empire Veterans and families needing high quality socks and a chance to win $50 Visa Gift Cards.
500 pairs of socks and a complimentary Nurses Pub goodie gift bag will be available with COVID testing on November 11, 2022, from 7:30 am until 2:30 p.m. and Novem-ber 12, 2022, from 7:30 am until 1:00 p.m. at 468 west 5th Street, San Bernardino, Cali-fornia, 90241.
The Nurses Pub is a non-profit organization working with CDPH (California Department of Public Health) to provide FREE COVID testing for the San Bernardino residents that otherwise would not have access to covid testing and informational resources, Current-ly, testing is available Tuesday until Friday from 7:30 am until 2:45 p.m. and Saturday, 7:30 am until 1:00 p.m.
According to Clayton, CEO, The Nurses Pub organization is elated to be able to sup-port Veterans and individuals experiencing homelessness by offering free services for the community. Although transmission of the virus is declining we are also capturing individuals that are testing positive for the virus.” Our services are free of charge and our staff are the top of the line in service and testing states Clayton.
The Rock The Sox Campaign will continue until November 18, 2022, and The Nurses Pub anticipates providing over 500 pairs of socks for the community. “These socks are much needed especially during the winter months,” and our goal is to be a service for veterans and others in the underserved communities of San Bernardino and the Inland Empire.
Raffle drawing nominees will be announced on November 18, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at the testing site.
