Why has this become so important? We all have our own personal stories; family members, or close friends, who are very dear to us are Breast Cancer Survivors or have scummed to the disease.
We must raise the public’s awareness of this devasting disease. This can promote prevention, early detection, and treatment, as well as, improve health and prevent further progression of this disease.Joyce Woodbury Harris, of Alpha Psi Chapter in Rialto, California, took her commitment to fight Breast Cancer Disease seriously this weekend. Joyce attended the book signing event for Laura Franklin, a two-time Breast Cancer Survivor. Joyce stated that Laura’s story will provide encouragement and hope to anyone who has ever been diagnosed with Breast Cancer Disease.
The book signing was held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the IEHP (Inland Empire Health Plan) Research Center in San Bernardino, California. The book is titled, “I Stuff My Bra, So What”.
