The Threshold Program Designed to Help Previously Incarcerated Women with Children Make a Successful Re-Entry into Society

“We The People” Cultural Consortium’s program known
as The Threshold is seeking participants for a unique
opportunity to experience healing, mindset renewal, and
a fresh start to achieving a successful reentry to society.
The sessions will be held in San Bernardino, California,
September 4, 2022 – August 20, 2023 1pm – 4pm.
Alternating Sunday Schedule to be provided.
The Threshold Program is designed for previously incarcerated women who have children. The purpose is, to reduce recidivism, promote personal development, and enhance parent-child bonding.
Participants and their children will attend twenty-six, 3-hour sessions that include positive artistic, physical, and mental engagement activities. These therapeutic fine arts and literacy activities will cultivate productive life skills, emotional healing, effective goal setting and family reunification.
To qualify participants must be a mother who has been released from incarceration within the last 12 months.
Child care provided for babies and small children.
Free to participants and their children.

Mentorship and additional resource materials are woven into the program design. During the “Community Sharing” event participants will be awarded a “Certificate of Completion” as well as be allowed to monetize their artworks.
