Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. to Host College and Career Day for High School Seniors in Our District

San Bernardino, CA. – San Bernardino Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. to host a College and Career Day for High School Seniors in our San Bernardino County School Districts. The event will take place on April 18th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event is meant to assist high-school seniors with their next steps following high school. There will be interactive workshops that will give the students resources, tools, and information pertaining to college and career opportunities that are possible for them. There will be booths from workforce development to inform students of potential job opportunities after they graduate.

“I want this event to be used as a tool for high school students who are not sure of what their near future is going to look like. I want them to know that they have opportunities to thrive in our community and that anything that they dream to do is possible with hard work and dedication. I want to see every student from our County succeed by working or studying in a stable environment. This event will open doors by letting these high school seniors know that they have opportunities to do anything they set their minds to. I am looking forward to meeting and working with them at the event!”
