Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. Invites the Community to Nominate Women in Honor of Women’s History Month.

In honor of Women’s History Month beginning in March, it is time to celebrate the women in the Fifth District and all they have done and contributed with in our community and beyond. The Fifth District is full of women who are pivotal members of the community who deserve to be honored and recognized for all they do and have done. Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. is inviting the community to join in on honoring these special women by having a nominations period open to the public starting February 22nd until March 1st.

“Women are the backbone of our community and their contributions to society should never go unnoticed. Let us use this month and every day to celebrate the marvelous women in our Fifth District that we can all look up to. We are going to choose six women from those nominated to be recognized and have them come into the office to accept their recognitions. If you are and/or know a woman whose efforts in building our community into the strong and beautiful place it is now, please nominate them in the form found below. The form can also be found on our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. I look forward to celebrating all the women who receive nominations.” – Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr.
