Diocese of San Bernardino Recognizes Lifetime Accomplishments  Of  Three Outstanding Women Of Color

SAN BERNARDINO, CA- The Diocese of San Bernardino Catholics of African Descent will recognize the lifetime accomplishments of three outstanding African American women: Thelma Bledsoe, Lois J. Carson, (posthumously)  and Wilma Cochrane. Each of these women were instrumental in establishing a ministry for Catholics of African descent in the Diocese of San Bernardino.  The Most Reverend Alberto Rojas, Bishop of the Diocese of San Bernardino will present them with the awards at the 37th annual Black History Month Celebration Mass on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at 10:15 am, at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral,  2525 N. Arrowhead Ave., San Bernardino 92405.  All are welcome to attend.
