“There Is A Time for Everything…!”

And a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace” [Ecclesiastes 3:1-8].

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not foolishly, but wisely, knowing how to make the most out of every opportunity…” [Ephesians 5:15-17]. God has set before you life and death, blessings and cursing.  Choose life, so that you and your descendant may live!” [Deuteronomy 30:15-19]. Because like the church at Ephesus you have “left your first love.” Putting yourself in the midst of a spiritual crisis. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones. [Proverbs 3:8 Romans 8:28; Jeremiah 29:11].

Besides, why do you think Christ’s ministry began on a note of URGENCY and NEED FOR ACTION: “The TIME HAS COME,” he said. “The KINGDOM OF GOD IS NEAR. REPENT and believe the good news!” [Mark 1:15].   Be wise, choose life, so that you and your descendant may live. Because I tell you, time is running out! Salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed; the night is far gone, the day is near. Therefore, lay aside the works of darkness and put on the armor of light; Live honorably as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in debauchery and licentiousness, not in quarreling and jealousy. Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. [Romans 13:11-14].

I tell you, God longs to forgive and forget, but you must first turn to Him in confession and repentance.“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “Return to Me with all your heart… and rend your heart and not your garments.” For I am gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in loving-kindness.” [Joel 2:12]. Today if you will hear His voice, do not harden your heart” [Psalm 95:7-8]. Remember, there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens, and today is the day of salvation. Today is the acceptable time! [2Corinthians 6:2]. “Make every effort to enter the narrow door, because many, I tell you will try to enter and will not be able to.” Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’ “But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’ Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’ But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers…” [Luke 13:22-27].

Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. [Isaiah 55:7].

“In the valley between Mount Ebal and Mount Gerizim the people stood and listened. From Mount Ebal they heard of disasters and troubles and difficulties that would come because they did not serve the Lord their God. Mount Ebal stood as a warning that God takes sin seriously and that harsh consequences follow the breaking of His laws. From Mount Gerizim they heard of the blessings that would come upon them and overtake them if they would obey the Lord their God. “Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the country. Your crops will be blessed, your herds and the young of your flock will increase, your basket and kneading bowl will be blessed. Blessed shall you be when you come in and blessed shall you be when you go out.” [Deuteronomy 28].

Do not procrastinate any longer! Today is the day of salvation! For God says, “At the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of salvation I helped you. Behold, now is the acceptable time, behold now is the day of salvation.” [2 Corinthians 6:2]. There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.

“He that will, let him take of the water of life freely” [Revelation 22:17].
