Virtually Travel the Old Spanish Trail with the Museum

Historical Travels via San Bernardino County Museum and Victor Valley Museum on Facebook

Travel back in time with the San Bernardino County Museum and Victor Valley Museum as we virtually venture across the Old Spanish Trail Oct. 2-4, 2020. The trail has been called the most arduous and difficult route in the United States, covers six states, some 2,700 miles, traversing mountains, deserts, rivers, and coastal valleys.

Join us for a 3-day adventure via the San Bernardino County Museum and Victor Valley Museum Facebook pages which will include virtual tours of the Old Spanish Trail, the Agua Mansa Pioneer Cemetery, the Trujillo Adobe Historic Site, the Jensen-Alvarado Historic Ranch and Museum, interactive videos, and at-home activities, in partnership with the Old Spanish Trail Association, Spanish Town Heritage Foundation, Riverside County Regional Park and Open Space District, Bàllet Folklorico Cultural and the San Bernardino County Museum’s education and history divisions.

The San Bernardino County Museum’s exhibits of regional, cultural and natural history and the Museum’s other exciting events and programs reflect the effort by the Board of Supervisors to achieve the Countywide Vision by celebrating arts, culture, and education in the county, creating quality of life for residents and visitors.
