“The funds I’m announcing today will help more Inland Empire residents put a roof overhead in the midst of this pandemic,” Rep. Torres said. “Our local housing authorities help make the dream of a home a reality for vulnerable residents and families every single day. As someone who once lost a house to a fire, the urgency in helping struggling families find a home is personal to me. I’m thrilled to announce these CARES Act funds, because I know about all of the good that will come from them.”
Since Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act on March 27th, Rep. Torres has announced more than $75 million in emergency relief for Inland Empire residents, businesses and community organizations.
