San Bernardino – Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes is hosting The Bridge: Interfaith Conference on Saturday, March 14th at San Bernardino Valley College. The Bridge is a free conference featuring keynote speakers, and the opportunity to interact with a panel of community leaders. This event seeks to unite faith based organizations and elected officials to bridge the gap of service to the community.
The conference will concentrate on basic needs and education, health, nutrition, food insecurity, housing, homelessness, and mental health. During the registration, participants can enjoy a complimentary breakfast. In addition, they will have the opportunity to speak with community and faith leaders, attend workshops and contribute to the betterment of the community.
“Being civically engaged means getting out and getting active, but it also means discussing important issues and how to solve them. This conference brings together the faith-based communities and public policy professionals with our community to do just that. ” Said Assemblymember Reyes.
