Live Concert, Food Trucks and Dove Release At Pink on Parade’s Breast Cancer Awareness Walk!

Just around the corner, the 8th Annual Pink on Parade event will be held at the iconic Mt. Rubidoux on Saturday, October 19. 

Riverside, CA – Riverside Community Health Foundation is proud to announce the return of Riverside’s 8th annual breast cancer awareness walk, Pink on Parade, on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Ryan Bonaminio Park located at 5000 Tequesquite Ave, Riverside, CA 92506) from 7:30am – 1:30pm. 

The event will feature a live DJ along with notable performances from local groups in and around Riverside supporting breast cancer awareness. Riverside Honor Guard, Ramona High School band, Syde Project, and Heart and Soul Line Dancers to name a few will be present at this year’s event.

This year’s event will be one to remember. A first-ever dove release will take place during the event to honor survivors living and the ones who have passed away.

In addition, food trucks from Kono Pizza, Juanita’s Sweets & More, iVibe Coffee and more will be ready to serve walkers during the event. An opportunity drawing will also be held, prizes include admission tickets to Discovery Cube, Santa Ana Zoo, Wilson Creek Winery and Vineyards, Hidden Valley golf course and more! 

The entire family can participate in this event. There will be two routes, a 5K up Mt. Rubidoux and a 1.8K family fun walk around Ryan Bonaminio Park. All proceeds for the event will go towards the programs and services at The Pink Ribbon Place, Riverside’s first breast cancer resource center. 

Prices for the event increase on October 7 and online registration closes on October 18. A special discounted price will also be afforded to voters in the Aetna Voices of Health competition. Riverside Community Health Foundation is in the running for $20,000 and voting for the organization can save you $10 off your general admission ticket for Pink on Parade.
