Honoring Charley & Evelyn Glasper For Their Years Of Public Service

ADELANTO, CA. Charley and Evelyn Glasper will be honored for their years of public service to the City of Adelanto, and the High Desert.  This couple has served, mentored, and dedicated their lives to advancing the interest of the local residents for many years.

Mr. Charley Glasper is retiring from the Adelanto City Council after serving off and on over 10 years.  He was first elected in 2004 and has also been the Mayor of Adelanto.

Mrs. Evelyn Glasper has been an educator for over 30 years in addition to being elected to the Victor Valley Union High School Board of Trustees and the Adelanto Elementary School Board.  This Black-Tie celebration will take place on January 11, 2019 at the Adelanto Stadium, 12000 Stadium Way in Adelanto; from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Musical entertainment will be Saxophonist, Jimmie Smith and Company.

The event is being presented by Pastor Harold Hines of Kingdom Life Christian Center and Ammie Hines of Another Level For Women & AESD Board Trustee.  Primary Sponsors are Jessie Flores, City Manager and the City of Adelanto.  It will be a time to celebrate the achievements of this outstanding couple and honor their individual contributions to our community.
