“If there is one thing President Trump has made clear throughout his time in office, it is his complete disregard for the U.S. Constitution. It should come as no surprise that he believes that he has the power to undo with the stroke of a pen a right that has been enshrined in the 14th Amendment since 1868. I will not allow the President’s sustained attempts to undermine our American values and the rule of law.”
