The Riverside Community Will Unite At The Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, Pink on Parade Register Today!

The Power Of Love breast cancer photo(Riverside, CA) September 27, 2018 –  Pink on Parade returns to provide hope and support to Riverside families, friends and neighbors. The event, sponsored by Riverside Community Health Foundation will bring together over 1,400 people to Riverside’s iconic Mt. Rubidoux, Saturday, October 20, 2018.

For six years, Pink on Parade has created an atmosphere of support, community and love. The walk allows families and friends impacted by breast cancer to come together for a time of celebration and just plain fun!

Pink on Parade supports the mission of Riverside Community Health Foundation’s breast cancer resource center, Pink Ribbon Place. All proceeds raised at Pink on Parade will go towards the programs at the Pink Ribbon Place.

The Pink Ribbon Place focuses on improving the quality of life for those impacted by cancer, before, during and after treatment. The resource center has served over 2,300 women, men and families in areas of counseling, receiving wigs, breast prosthesis and breast health education, all at no cost.

Pink on Parade will include a 5K up Mt. Rubidoux and a 1.8K family fun walk around Ryan Bonaminio Park. Prizes, games, activities for kids, and participation from city officials during the dunk take opportunity will all be underway at Pink on Parade.
