SUMMARY:
On June 29, 2018, at 4:45 a.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Station responded to a commercial burglar where they determined two unknown males used a sledge hammer to break a large window on the southwest corner of the business. The suspects entered the business and stole various items, including a safe. They put the safe in a newer model white sedan and left the area.
At about 8:10 a.m., Sheriff’s deputies received a request for assistance from Riverside Police Department. They had three adult males and an adult female detained in their city. The suspects were in a newer model white sedan with the safe from the burglarized business in their vehicle. During the night, four other window smash burglaries occurred in the same general areas of the city.
Detectives Mitchell and Ixco responded to the Riverside Police Department to further investigate and interview the suspects. A safe, documents and a money bag were recovered and were found to belong to Kickback Jacks Restaurant and Cost Plus Mattress, both of which are located in the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
The three male suspects were arrested and booked into West Valley Detention Center for commercial burglary.
