APU and Salvation Army Host Annual Homeless Foot Washing

Who: Azusa Pacific University’s High Desert Regional Campus nursing students and the Salvation Army host the fourth annual Homeless Foot Washing event.

When: Wednesday, Aug. 1, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Where: Victorville Salvation Army, 14585 La Paz Dr.

What: This outreach event serves approximately 200 people in need. Each attendee will receive free shoes, socks, a meal, and a health screening. In addition, participants receive personal foot washing, spiritual support, and referrals to community resources.
