Celebrating Dr. Harvey Nurick & Richard Michaelson 2018 Dynamic Duo Award

Riverside CA March 22, 2018 – Time for Change Foundation’s (TFCF) Dynamic Duo Award honors members of the Inland Empire who go above and beyond their professional careers to helping others less fortunate. This dynamic team reflects those values and concern for others that truly makes us a great nation. 

Dr. Harvey Nurick has spent his entire adult life devoted to solving the physical problems of others. Having grown up in a poor neighborhood, with an incarcerated father, and as Dr. Nurick said, “circumstances where food stamps and welfare were not an embarrassment, but a welcomed gift, and where thievery was an accepted form of getting by”, he has truly defied the odds.

Richard Michaelson, owner of Riverside Metro Honda, is one of those guys who works behind the scenes and doesn’t like attention, but his altruism is something to be commended. Both of these native New Yorkers, have made a great impact in the lives of homeless women and children in the Inland Empire. “They both feel that if you can save even just one life, it is as if you’ve saved the world.”

Dr. Carolyn Eggleston with the Community Education Champion Award, Jordyn Rivera with the Humanitarian Award, Bobby Barzi with the Ramos Family Spirit of Compassion Award, Virginia Blumenthal with the Women’s Empowerment Award, Jayda Rasberry, and Mianta Mc Knight with the Advocates of the Year award, Cedar House Life Change Center with the Community Champion Award, and Mitla Café with the Unsung Hero Award.

Time for Change Foundation’s 16th Year Anniversary Gala will take place on Friday, April13th, 2018 at the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton in Ontario, CA from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
