San Bernardino County the 58th Black History Month and Expo Saturday February 28th 2026 the parade steps off at 10:00 a.m.  Summit and Citrus Ave. to Sierra Lakes Parkway where the Expo begins 12:00 noon in the North Fontana Home Depot parking lot on the corner of Citrus Ave and Sierra Lakes Parkway north of the 210 freeway. This year’s theme is “Youthpreneur” celebrating Future Leaders.

Visionary Cyrus Moss this year’s Grand Marshal learned the land his school was built on was once owned by a African American Family who’s home was burnt to the ground with the family of four in it, he wanted to know more.

Once he learned the history of the racial divide in Fontana he envisioned the school currently name Randall Pepper elementary school being named after the original owners O’Day Short. He and his mother collected enough signatures on a petition to convince the Fontana Unified School Board to change the name. The renaming to O’Day Short Elementary School ceremony took place December 2025.

We encourage youthpreneurs to take advantage of this opportunity to display and sell what you have created.
