The Avett Brothers and Dwight Yoakam to Headline March 21 Event
ONTARIO, Calif. – Greater Ontario California (GOCAL) and the City of Ontario today announced that online ticket sales officially open today for the first concert ever to be held at ONT Field, marking a major milestone in the debut of the region’s newest sports and entertainment destination.
Tickets for the highly anticipated concert featuring folk-rock sensations The Avett Brothers, country music legend Dwight Yoakam, and special guest The Iguanas, go on sale today, Friday, January 30, at 10 a.m., exclusively through Ticketmaster.
Set for Saturday, March 21, the concert will officially introduce ONT Field as the Greater Ontario region’s premier outdoor venue for live entertainment and large-scale community events.
“Today’s ticket launch is the moment when this incredible project truly becomes real for our community,” said Michael Krouse, President and CEO of GOCAL. “This concert is the first of many unforgettable experiences to come at ONT Field, and it reflects our region’s growing role as a destination for world-class sports, entertainment and tourism.”
Located near Riverside Drive and Vineyard Avenue, ONT Field will serve as the home of the Ontario Tower Buzzers, the Dodgers’ Single-A affiliate, and will anchor the Ontario Sports Empire. With a capacity of 6,000, the stadium is designed as a versatile outdoor venue capable of hosting concerts, festivals, cultural celebrations and major special events in addition to professional baseball.
