“The more you know of Me and My ways, the more severe will be your judgment for not trusting and obeying Me. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. I tell you, it shall be more tolerable on the day of judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you” [Matthew 11:21–22]. After all you have learned and experienced, it would have been better if you had never know the way to reighteousness than to know it and then reject the command you were given to live a holy life. How shall you escape, if you neglect so great Salvation? Do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
“As I live, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn from your evil ways, for why will you die? Do not be foolish! You must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. Darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more. You, however, did not come to know Me that way. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like Me in true righteousness and holiness. [Ephesians 4:17-24]. I tell you, it would have been better if you had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command you were given to live a holy life.
For the testimony of Scripture is clear that all unconverted people are under the wrath of God [Romans 1:18 -19]. God has delivered you and set you free from the chains of sin. So repent and turn back to Me. For it is My desire for you to live and to walk in the light. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. [Revelation 3:20].
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
