
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) announced that the Inland Empire Emperors are the latest expansion team getting set to begin play in November. “This has certainly been an unusual start to the off season for all sport leagues and the ABA is no exception,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “However, we have continued to add teams at a record pace and have confidence our season will begin as planned. Located east of Los Angeles, Inland Empire is a perfect fit for the southern division of the Far West Region and will be playing teams both north and south.”
The team will be owned by Kevin Dailey, a successful salesman and entrepreneur from humble beginnings, Kevin Dailey developed a strong work ethic and learned to support himself financially at a very early age. Working under the guidance of his father, he began mastering the ins and outs of commercial and residential property management at the age of 14. These early experiences instilled in Kevin an appreciation for hard work, as well as deep compassion for others.
He eventually moved into project management with First Choice Development in Anaheim and promoted to building automated system’s engineer quality assurance at Servi- Tek Engineering and CBRE properties. His love for basketball developed early growing up in Pasadena, Ca. playing and learning with basketball legends like Micheal Cooper, Stacy Augmon, Jaque Vahugn, Eric “Spin Doctor” Holmes, Larry “Bone Collector” Williams and Doug Gottlieb along with his family’s roots in the Inland Empire have inspired him to launch the Inland Empire’s new favorite basketball team, the I.E. Emperors.
