Veterans and dependents get free legal advice on civil matters
WHAT: Riverside County Veterans’ Services and the Veterans Legal Institute (VLI) now offer free legal advice to veterans and their dependents. The legal assistance is for civil matters, including healthcare, housing, immigration, discharge upgrades, bankruptcy, license renewals, consumer law, estate planning and expungements. The legal service is provided by a $49,000 grant from Prop. 63.
WHO: Approximately 100 at-risk and low-income veterans and their dependents will benefit from the free legal services.
WHEN: Clinics will take place every third Tuesday of the month.

9 a.m. – noon
Interested veterans are encouraged to set up an appointment as walk-ins are not guaranteed.
